Built for Ellis County Families
Act Swift Bail Bonds is a Texas-licensed bail bond company serving Ellis County residents. From our office at 209 E. Main Street in downtown Waxahachie, we operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including weekends and holidays. When you call, a licensed Texas bail bond agent answers and begins the intake.
Our focus is local. We file surety bonds at the Ellis County Jail and are familiar with the procedural requirements, paperwork standards, and bond filing process at the Wayne McCollum Detention Center. That familiarity supports accurate filings prepared in accordance with the Sheriff’s Office requirements.
Beyond the Ellis County Jail, our agents work with every municipal facility in the county — Ennis City Jail, Midlothian City Jail, Red Oak Holding Facility, Ferris City Jail, and partial-county facilities in Grand Prairie, Cedar Hill, and Mansfield. We work with each facility according to its established transfer procedures and keep families informed of the publicly available booking and case information during the process.
Every Charge Type. Every Ellis County Facility.
Act Swift Bail Bonds is authorized to file surety bonds for every eligible charge type processed through the Ellis County court system. Our most common case types include felony bonds, misdemeanor bonds, DWI/DUI arrests, drug possession, assault, family violence, theft, warrant clearing, and traffic-related charges. We also handle bond filings for less common but equally serious cases — aggravated assault, robbery, weapons charges, sexual offenses, evading arrest, and probation violations — when bail is authorized.
For clients who know they have an outstanding warrant in Ellis County, we coordinate walk-through bonds — pre-arranged surrenders where bond paperwork is prepared in advance of the defendant’s self-surrender at the jail. Walk-through bonds are not available for every charge, and eligibility depends on the warrant type, charge classification, and any holds in place.
Bail bond fees in Texas are regulated by the Texas Department of Insurance and do not vary by company within the same county. What varies is service quality and the accuracy of the paperwork submitted to the court.
Three DFW Offices. One Family.
Act Swift Bail Bonds is part of a sister-office network across the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Act Quick Bail Bonds handles Dallas County out of their downtown Dallas office, and Act Rapid Bail Bonds covers Denton County from their Denton office. Together, the three offices cover the bulk of arrests across the DFW metroplex, and we coordinate cases that span multiple counties — for example, when an arrest occurs in a city like Grand Prairie or Cedar Hill that crosses county lines, or when a defendant has warrants in more than one jurisdiction.
If your situation involves a county we do not serve directly, call us anyway. We can refer you to the appropriate sister office for the case. Each office files bonds with the same focus on accurate paperwork prepared in accordance with the applicable Sheriff’s Office requirements.
